Is the smartwatch easy to use for people with motor limitations?
Yes. The Samsung Galaxy Watch features a simplified interface, and the Ellie Care SOS button can be activated with a single touch or gesture. Additionally, our team configures the device according to each user's specific needs.
What happens if the user cannot communicate verbally?
The system automatically detects emergencies (falls, abnormal heart rate) and contacts Ellie Center without the user needing to speak. The SOS button also sends an alert with the exact location so the assistance team can act immediately.
Do caregivers receive real-time notifications?
Yes. Configured emergency contacts receive instant alerts for any event: SOS activation, fall detection, safe zone exit, or significant changes in the user's vital signs.
Can a safe zone be configured?
Yes. Through the Ellie Center platform, geofences (safe zones) can be defined. If the user leaves these areas, an automatic alert is sent to caregivers and the assistance center.
What is the difference between the OWN Plan and the LOAN Plan?
With the OWN Plan, you purchase the smartwatch (payable in 12 installments) and pay a lower monthly fee. With the LOAN Plan, the watch is provided at no cost in exchange for a higher monthly fee. Both plans include exactly the same features and 24/7 assistance.
Does Ellie Care work nationwide?
Yes. The service works throughout Argentina with mobile network coverage. The smartwatch uses LTE and WiFi connectivity to ensure constant communication with Ellie Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
